Bedford Park

Bedford Park is one of Bedford’s best-known green spaces and a great place to spend time outdoors, with an impressive range of sports, leisure facilities and family-friendly activities. Whether you want to get active, enjoy a walk, meet friends for a coffee or simply let the children burn off some energy, there’s plenty to do.

For sports enthusiasts, the park has an excellent selection of facilities. You can shoot some hoops on the basketball court, play tennis, enjoy a game of football or cricket, or make use of the rounders pitches. There’s also a bowls green for a more relaxed sporting experience, while the outdoor gym provides another option for keeping active during a visit.

Families are well catered for too, with play areas where children can have fun and plenty of open green space for games and running around. For those arriving by car, there is on-site parking, with up to three hours of free parking available when displaying a ticket. Toilets are also available, although there is a charge to use them.
